AFDEM was tasked to enhance national and multilateral capacity to cope with the human resources and training needs in conflict prevention and post-conflict recovery. The focus therefore is on providing quality expertise to peace operations while engaging internationally in raising the standards in expert sourcing, recruitment, performance management, and duty of care.
