| Job Description | Purpose of the post: Under overall guidance of the Deputy Representative, responsible for development, design, planning, implementation and management of the Child Survival and Development programme within the Country Programme of Cooperation. Your profile: • Advanced University Degree in Public Health or Human Nutrition, preferably with a first level degree in medicine. • Ten years progressively, responsible professional work experience at national and international levels in programme planning and management in public health and/or human nutrition; experience in CSD related policy formulation and advocacy; experience in guiding and managing integrated health/nutrition/water and sanitation programmes. • Knowledge of latest development and technology in public health and human nutrition, particularly in integrated approaches and systems strengthening. • Proven ability to conceptualise, plan and manage programmes as well as to transfer knowledge and skills. • Leadership and organisational ability. • Good analytical, negotiation, communication and advocacy skills. • Ability to work in an international or multicultural environment. • Knowledge of computer management and applications. • Fluency in English required, Knowledge of the local working language of the duty station is an asset. |
